A major highlight was the collaboration with the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) where the Consumer Science: Food and Nutrition Department invited our students to join a Production Day at the university, as part of their community service-learning programme.
The CPUT students shared their skills and knowledge with our Vheneka women. It was an unforgettable experience for the beneficiaries of our programme as it was a first-time in a university.
The work on fine tuning our culinary course curriculum into a formidable bridging course in the culinary sector went on well and we are now certain that it ticks all boxes.
